HELPING AT HOME & AROUND THE WORLD

HOME MISSIONS

There are several ways we help in the local community.  But here are examples of two!

CORRINE'S KITCHEN

Monday thru Friday

5:00 - 6:30 PM

We serve a hot, home cooked meal to those who can't afford one.  Free of charge to the public, this service is dedicated to Corrine Neubauer, the Mother of our Senior Pastor.

In the Bible, God often talks about helping the poor & needy. He asks us to give generously to them and speak up for them.  Matthew 25:35-36 says, "For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in."

WORLD MISSIONS

VARIOUS COUNTRIES & OTHER OUTREACH PROGRAMS

Arlington Assembly of God has planted churches all over the globe and closer to home.

Some local churches were planted as a result of AAOG's support in Fairfax, Burke Lake, Woodbridge, Ashland and many others.

Beginning in the early 1970s until today, members have provided labor and financial support to plant churches in the following countries:

Port-Au-Prince, Haiti

Dominican Republic

Panama

Paraguay

Chile (10 churches)

Ukraine

Nigeria

and soon South Sudan

There will soon be pictures of these projects over the years posted on our Facebook page here.

ELEME, NIGERIA

HOSPITAL CONSTRUCTION

In Zechariah, God tells us, "Administer true justice; show mercy and compassion to one another."

Beginning in 2017, our church was led to help a village in Nigeria called Eleme. They lack natural resources, medical care and help for the children of the city.  This mission focuses on giving mercy, compassion and love to a group of people who have been impoverished most of their lives.  Please join us in praying daily for Eleme.

Upon Pastor Neubauer's first visit, he realized there wasn't a sanitary or safe place for women to give birth.  So by partnering with various Aid organizations and individuals who could help, we put together a birthing room for the women.

MOLTOVILOVKA, UKRAINE

CHURCH PLANTED

25 Years ago, Arlington Assembly of  God was called to show love to the country of Ukraine.  We had no idea how or where to start.  But put our faith in God to provide.  Now the people of Moltivilovka have a safe and wonderful place to share their love of Jesus!  This church has been able to expand into Kiev and other cities all around the Ukraine.

Deuteronomy 14:29 says, "...The sojourner, the Fatherless and the widows who are in your towns, shall come and eat and be filled, that the Lord you God may bless you in all the work of your hands that you do."

In accordance to the word of God, we set out to provide also for the orphans and widows who have been effected by the wars and fighting in Ukraine.  The fruit of this word was House of Joy, an orphanage, and House of Mercy, a pensioners home for widows.  For more information and see pictures, click here.

A Place of Love

Senior Pastors Richard & Joy Neubauer have been our Lead pastors since February 1980. During their almost 40 year tenure, their passion and love for the Lord inspires us to be better disciples.  The love they have for the Lord, Jesus Christ creates a passion in others to grow here and go out to transform the world.
